We've had a wonderful start to our Native American unit and are looking forward to our upcoming museum that we're excited to share with you!
Students were very excited to attend our field trip to the Great Bay Discovery Center and compare the differences between the Abenaki and Hopi tribes.

Our class is having such a wonderful time together and it is so amazing to by apart of this group. Students are working together, helping one another, and challenging themselves (and me) to think above and beyond!
We are off and running with our curriculum for the year and students are plugging away at three digit addition and subtraction, graphing, sentence and paragraph structure, social and emotional skills, and our very exciting Native American Unit. This month will be filled with fun filled learning and out of the box art projects to fulfill our creative sides. In the middle of the month we will be exploring the Abenaki tribe at the Great Bay Discovery Center. There is just so much in store! Stay tuned for more amazing things! Mrs. Freeman We've had such an amazing month! It's crazy to think about everything that has been accomplished in just a short amount of time. The students deserve a huge pat on the back as they continue to be outstanding individuals who are showing true responsibility as they go about their day.
We created a shared vision as a whole third grade and the students are doing a doing a wonderful job holding true to it. We signed our names to the vision, "This year we will use our BEST EFFORT to meet our goals and be ready for 4th Grade. We want to explore new subjects, make new friends, and be successful in order to have a great year!" By signing our names we're showing that we can uphold ourselves to the standards we created together. On top of that, students have been working independently in both reading and math centers which is unbelievable (especially since they started doing this on the 7th day of school). We have a truly incredible class and I feel so fortunate to be their teacher! Stay tuned for more exciting information! Mrs. Freeman The year is up and running! Our third grade class has had an amazing few days of school and we are really beginning to gel as a class. The first few days can be a little tiring as we practice and review our procedures and expectations for the year. Luckily that is becoming less and less as our class is doing an amazing job remembering them all!
We are working hard on learning everyone's names and things about them. This is helping us creating a warm and happy environment for all of our friends. Over the few weeks assessments and work really kick in to high gear. As always we will be moving and grooving to make sure that we don't get bored. Keep an ear out for fun and exciting things that will be happening throughout our year! Mrs. Freeman It's hard to believe that in just one month we'll be on our first day of school! I hope that everyone is enjoying their summer and spending plenty of time outside. I can't wait to hear about all of the exciting things that you've been up to on your time off!
I've been busy this summer traveling for friends weddings, playing with my adorable puppy Poe, and hanging out with friends and family. Pretty soon I'll be heading into our classroom to get it all prepped and ready for the first day of school. Be on the look out for a summer letter from myself, it'll include information about the beginning of the year and a meet and greet before school starts! The Countdown is On! Mrs. Freeman |
